Clear Run Cottage is possibly the earliest example of Greek Revival architecture in Licking County. The cottage was relocated alongside the historic Clear Run in the mid-1930s by Robbins Hunter. The Robbins Hunter Museum-Avery Downer House is evidence of Robbins Hunter’s love of antiques and saving Licking County history. Clear Run Cottage sits among beautiful shade trees and is within walking distance of Granville Village, restaurants, shops, and Denison Golf Course. The warm interior colors are indicative of the Greek Revival period and antique furnishings add to the warmth and relaxed character. Please make yourself at home and enjoy your stay in a piece of Licking County history.
